Kathy Vieth was born and raised in Missouri and graduated from Central Methodist College in May 1966 with a BA in Mathematics and Economics. She had a successful career in the Banking Industry prior to joining IBM in 1974. In her 18 year career with IBM, she achieved the level of Vice President. She retired from IBM and moved to Vail CO where she started her own mortgage banking business.
In 2011, Kathy was diagnosed with breast cancer, even without any family history of this type of cancer. Based on this event, she felt embarking on a different medical path was important and that taking charge of one’s health is extremely important. That has led to an interest in a more involved wellness regimen, which is why she is involved with AgeWellMD.
She is active in the community by working with Habitat for Humanity and various women’s projects. In addition, she is on the Board of Trustees for Central Methodist University, MO. Kathy continues to enjoy the active Colorado lifestyle by skiing, fly fishing and playing golf. She and her spouse, Hope Engsberg, MD and their terrific Great Dane, Wilhm Dakota, all work together to provide you with the best care at AgeWell MD.
