Hope Engsberg, MD ABAARM FAARM
Hope Engsberg, MD, grew up in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, and her interest in a medical career began in her teens. She worked in a small, rural hospital, and within this environment, she discovered anesthesiology truly blended the science and art of medicine. These early years helped to form a career centered upon compassion, commitment, care, and competence.
She was graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and continued at the Baylor School of Medicine with her Anesthesiology Residency and Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship and Advanced Anesthesia Clinical Care. After she completed her time at Baylor, Dr. Engsberg joined the United States Army and promoted to the rank of Major. During this time, she was the Chief of Anesthesia for the 67th Evacuation Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany. She concluded her service obligation at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. Dr. Engsberg continued her anesthesia career in Denver as a partner of a large group of anesthesiologists. Since 2001, Dr. Engsberg has been the President of Mountain Anesthesia Concepts in Morrison, Colorado.
So after over 30 years of working in the world of anesthesiology, Hope Engsberg, MD, has completed yet another fellowship training program in preventive medicine through the American Academy of Anti Aging and Regenerative Medicine. This past year, she finished the advanced fellowship program in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Dr. Engsbergs enrolled at the University Of South Florida School Of Medicine’s master’s degree program in Regenerative Medicine and Nutrition.
Essentially, Dr. Engsberg plans to extend the safe, critical care environment provided by her anesthesiology career into the outpatient preventive medicine world of anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Hope Engsberg, MD, believes that each individual should have a choice of how he/she ages, and each person also deserves a healthcare experience surrounded by compassion, care, and competence.
Dr. Engsberg has a son, Christopher, and daughter in law, Suzanne, who also lives in Denver. She, her spouse, Kathy Vieth, and their terrific Great Dane, Wilhm Dakota, all work together to provide you with the best care at AgeWellMD.
Love these ladies! They have changed my life….I feel like myself again. Dr. E always explains everything thoroughly (in layman’s terms). Their direction, input and individual attention is unsurpassed. I was in denial I needed this for a long time,. DO IT! With AgeWell MD — you will not be sorry!
I have been going to Dr Engsberg for maybe 4 years now. My attitude was “I will try it and if I don’t like it, I will stop”. I admit that I was not feeling well when I started, and my hormones were a mess. Dr Engsberg looked at my labs and we started hormone therapy as well as some supplements. I wouldn’t think about leaving now. I feel great–Dr Engsberg calls it “cruising”. In addition, Dr Engsberg is extremely knowledgeable and she stays up to date on current hormone/health information. She takes care to explain how I am protecting myself from heart disease, cancer, and diabetes–visuals included. I have learned a great deal from her. I highly recommend Age Well MD!
I recently started what I call my “Health Journey” with Agewell. I went in with an open mind and a commitment that I was going to do what was recommended, because I had to start feeling better. I was on too many meds, sluggish, pudgy, tired, foggy and just sick of being sick and tired. I’m already feeling better! Dr. Engsberg and Kathy are smart, kind, caring and super responsive to all my questions. It’s a great experience!
